October's Presidents Message
PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE
We are coming to the end of the year. Elections are coming up in November. They will be held during our meeting on November 10th at our regular meeting. Nominations for board and officers will be taken from the floor at our October 27th meeting.
Our membership committee is doing a bang-up job, but we need more people to step up and help guide the club. The same people are doing most of the work that runs the club. New blood is always helpful. If you want to be on the board, see me or one of the committee members, or just nominate yourself at the Oct 27 meeting. Duties are minimal, but important.
November 10th is pizza night. We had excellent pizza last time and we expect more of the same. Remember, the meeting starts at 7:00.
If you have numismatic items or literature you no longer have a use for, you can bring the items in to be auctioned off as a donation lot at the beginning of the auction. All proceeds go to the club.
If you are planning to go to the annual banquet at the Bimini Boat House on December 8th, be sure to see Steve as soon as possible to get your paid reservation in. Seats are filling up fast. Every year we are oversubscribed.
